About Us
The Development and Alumni office offers a range of services to the University's alumni. These include:
- Offering advice to Networks on a range of issues, including event management and publicity
- Supporting the needs of the University by way of Appeals and Foundations
- Providing links between volunteers and the University
- Awarding scholarships and medals
- Producing Lumen magazine bi-annually, in conjunction with Marketing and Strategic Communications
- Contributing to Adelaidean, the monthly newspaper of the University
- Working with Faculties and Schools to value-add to their business
- Offering a range of general benefits and services to our alumni and graduates.
Our Vision
To present a coordinated, professional approach that delivers
innovative and effective programs that engage Schools, Faculties, their
students, staff and alumni, and achieves desirable and valued results
for the University community.
Our Alumni
The University's alumni include all of its graduates and
diplomates, present and former staff both academic and general, present
and former students and Friends of the University.
Our alumni have been supporting the University of Adelaide for more
than 80 years and contribute to maintaining the high standards achieved
by the University in its teaching, research and scholarship through a
mutually beneficial relationship.
Groups of University of Adelaide alumni gather around the world,
renewing friendships and taking an active role in the rich community
life of the University through social, intellectual, educational and
networking activities.

Opening Hours
The Development and Alumni office is open Monday - Friday, 8.45 am -
5.00pm (Australian Central Standard Time), except for the week between
Christmas Eve and New Year's Day (inclusive) and South Australian
Public Holidays.
Adelaide onLION is monitored during business hours. Member submitted updates and changes requiring administrator approval will take place within two business days.
