Honours Alumni University Medal

The Honours Alumni University Medal may be awarded each year on the basis of outstanding academic merit. The Selection Committee is coordinated by the Development and Alumni Office.

In April of each year the Executive Deans of the Faculties will be invited to submit to the Development and Alumni Office the names of 1 or 2 students who successfully completed the previous calendar year’s honours programme(s) in their faculties.
 
The Medal will be presented by the Chancellor at the August Commemoration Ceremonies, preferably during the ceremony at which the Medalist’s degree is conferred.
