Each year, the alumni community - including graduates, past and present students and staff, and friends - strengthen their ties to the University of Adelaide by making a gift to our Annual Appeals.
Every one of these gifts supports vital areas of the University, helping us to provide opportunities to students through scholarships and to maintain excellence in our resources, teaching and learning.
Over the last twelve months, more than 600 donors have given over $162,000 to Annual Appeals. Donors who have made gifts between 1 November 2008 - 31 October 2009 are recognised in our
2009 Annual Appeal Donor List
. We would also like to extend a warm thank you to all donors who have chosen to remain anonymous.

The Barr Smith Library Appeal is a crucial source of support for the University of Adelaide's main library. Funds help to purchase books and electronic resources to keep the Barr Smith Library a state-of-the-art facility.
Vice-Chancellor's Scholarships Fund Appeal
The University of Adelaide is committed to the positive impact that we can have on the lives of students. Every year, the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships Fund provides up to four undergraduate scholarships to young, talented and deserving school leavers.
